Marigold Library System - Strathmore, Alberta
Marigold Library System is seeking a Training and Communications Coordinator to join our collaborative team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for providing quality training to library staff and the public, as well as supporting communications strategies in a customer-focused environment.
You will provide training in a variety of formats on the use of eResources, website templates, mobile devices, Polaris ILS and digital media. You will develop and deliver outreach, workshops and conferences to meet member needs. You will also create online publications for Marigold websites and develop communications and marketing materials to promote library services.
Marigold Library System provides progressive public library services to a service population of over 342,000 residents in south-central Alberta through 43 municipalities, 35 libraries, two First Nations Reserves, 11 book deposits, two library lending lockers, and a mail service. The Town of Strathmore has a population of over 13,000 residents and is located 40 km east of Calgary on the Trans-Canada Highway (25-minute commute from city limits).
