Construction of Marigold's new headquarters building - a joint venture with the WID - began on September 11. To celebrate the historic moment Marigold and the WID hosted a ground-breaking ceremony on the site with a sod-turning ceremony and speeches from Marigold Board Chair Lynda Lyster, WID Board Chair Dan Shute, Strathmore Town Councillor Denise Peterson, Wheatland County Reeve Amber Link, MP Martin Shields, Siksika Councillor Reuben "Buck" Breaker and Airdrie-East MLA Angela Pitt.
